PE Floating Structure
It can be installed in places where the large difference between tides, deep water, or soft ground make loading and unloading difficult with general offshore facilities. Offshore floating structures using PE (PolyEthylene) materials are floating structures that forms a certain area within the vicinity of the sea, river, lake, or within the water area. Currently, it is used in a variety of ways, such as with fish farms, floating pensions, and marine pontoon bridges, in addition to mooring facilities (floating piers) for small ships. It has excellent wave resistance as an offshore vessel berthing facility, and can facilitate berthing of ships. It is easy to install and change position, is easy to maintain and repair after installation, and sustains little damage.
Types of PE Floating Structures : 1. Cage Farms 2. Water Intake Pipe (Deep Sea Water, etc.) 3. Marine Leisure Structures ex. Fishing Grounds 4. PE Pontoons
